WE
“WE” is a series of drawings that have been produced in direct response to daily news about unfolding conflict in Ukraine in 2014. Using the language of cartoons and satire, the drawings collapse together specific events and global stereotypes.
“WE” existed as an ongoing online archive with links to actual news articles. As the Ukraine conflict faded from the news cycle, the drawings took on qualities of a diary tinged with dark humor.
